Zucchini Spaghetti with Brieftons 5 Blade Spiralizer

8 961 views

Hey Everyone!

It’s been a while; I know! What can I say other than life happens, but I’m so happy to be back because I am really excited to share one of my new favorite kitchen gadgets with you all!

Recently I was sent the 5 Blade Spiralizer from Brieftons in an exchange for my honest review, and I decided to test it out by making some zucchini noodles.

First of all let me just say I was in love with how easy it was to assemble the spiralizer. The package came with instructions on how to assemble it, as well as the name of each blade and what type of cut you’d get using it. So I don’t talk your ear off; I’ll quickly list the pro’s and con’s on this product (very few cons!).

PROS:

  1. Easy To Assemble. Following the instructions was very simple, and it took me about 5 min (maybe less) to put the whole thing together.
  2. Blades Were Easy To Distinguish. The instructions labeled all 5 blades making it easy for me to choose the one I wanted to use. I decided to go with the curly fry blade for a fun twist with the noodles.
  3. Easy To Disassemble. Just like it was easy to put together; it was just as easy to take a part.
  4. Easy Clean Up. The spiralizer is dishwasher safe so clean up couldn’t be any easier. Not much food got stuck in the blades either.
  5. The handle.  The handle is the best feature on this product. It’s easy to turn, and didn’t get stuck. It also wasn’t flimsy or weak.

CONS:

  1. Plastic felt cheap.  The plastic felt a little cheap, however for the price it’s sold at I would still say it’s pretty good quality.
  2. Stability. I do wish that the spiralizer was a little more stable. In the video you can see that it moved around while I was using it. The movement didn’t hinder me using it at all; I just wished that it was a little more stable.

It def does Ruthie! I’m now on a mission to only use vegetables instead of pasta (except for those days I just have to indulge) 🙂

I definitely would recommend this one! I went back and tried it with potatoes and it did just as well as the zucchini did!
