8 Easy and Delicious Summer Toasts

Hey everyone! Happy Saturday! I’ve got eight summer toasts to share with you that are beautiful and super easy to make.

Fruits and vegetables in the summer are absolutely beautiful. It’s always fun coming up with different ways to use them so I had the idea to make summer toasts. My friend Bernadette, a foodie like me who also happens to be in culinary school came over to help me make these toasts and we came up with 8 different versions.

I used La Brea Bakery’s Straun Loaf from their Reserve Line in all the toasts. 

Toast 1: wheat toast, spread of peanut butter, sliced bananas, sliced strawberries, and a drizzle of honey

Toast 2: wheat toast, spread of ricotta, blueberries, blackberries, granola, and a drizzle of honey

Toast 3: wheat toast, spread of ricotta, raspberries, blackberries, topped with chives 

Toast 4 : toasted wheat toast, cherry tomatoes halved, salt, drizzle of balsamic vinegar 

Toast 5: wheat toast, spread of cream cheese, sliced radishes, salt and pepper

Toast 6: wheat toast, prosciutto, poached egg, salt and pepper 

Toast 7: wheat toast, spread of cream cheese, 2 slices of smoked salmon, chopped chives 

Toast 8: wheat toast, spread of cream cheese, sliced cucumber, salt, and pepper 

These toasts turn out beautifully just because of how beautiful the fruits and vegetables are. It’s simple and lets the ingredients shine on their own. All the combinations are absolutely delicious!! These are perfect for breakfast and lunch. Even better enjoyed with a glass of wine. 🙂
