One of the best summer cocktails, this Blackberry Vodka Lemonade combines sweet, tart lemonade with the delicious flavors of blackberry, rosemary, and mint for a refreshing cocktail.

Here in LA the weather is slowly starting to transition from spring to summer, and temperatures are starting to soar. Well let’s be honest, we never really have much of a spring here. Seems like we always just go straight into summer. In any event, this blackberry vodka lemonade is perfect for those unbearably hot days. It’s so refreshing, and is a great way to get the party started!

I make a pitcher of this blackberry vodka lemonade for pretty much any occasion. Whether it’s just a summer backyard barbecue, or brunch, or just because this cocktail is perfect, and is super easy to make. All you need is lemonade, fresh blackberries, a couple sprigs of rosemary , mint, and vodka. I made a simple syrup infused with rosemary and mint, just like in my Blood Orange Vodka Spritzers to really get that hint of that herb flavor in the lemonade.

The vodka I used in today’s cocktail comes from a local brand here in LA called Our/Los Angeles. Their distillery is located in the Art’s District, and their vodka is produced out of organic wheat. Their ingredients are locally sourced which gives the vodka its own, unique flavor profile. Another thing I love about this vodka is that it comes with a crown cap and resealable lid making it perfect to take on the go with you! The flavor has is fresh with a fruity note making it perfect for this blackberry vodka lemonade.
